Wow, this year has just flown by, hasn’t it?? I realize I haven’t blogged in months, and I’m sorry about that! It’s been quite a busy year around here. I’m going to try and use these next few winter months to catch up on my blogging and share all the amazing Alaska sessions I’ve done this year! But for today I’m going to share our own family pictures from 2018.

This year we scheduled our session with the fantastic Moss & Myrrh Photography. I've been following her photography since we moved to Alaska, and I just love her candid lifestyle approach as well as her dark and moody editing. We did half of our session at this amazing spot along the Knik Arm here in Wasilla, and then we went over to our house and had hot cocoa and hung out for more in-home pictures. This year we brought our new Goldendoodle puppy, Millie, to our session, and she was definitely the hit of the day!

Our outfits had a really muted, earthy tone this year… which, of course, is my favorite. :) Fall in Alaska is usually short-lived, but I’m so glad we were able to get the pretty fall colors in our pictures before it started snowing! Most of our clothing was stuff we already had in our closets… except for the kids’ outfits; they always seem to need new clothes. :)
