2019 Family Photos

Last year we had our session with Theresa McDonald, Photographer at my all-time favorite Alaskan spot: Hatcher Pass! We did some photos near the lodge and then headed up to Summit Lake. It was COLD and WINDY… and not even a few days after our session, it snowed at Hatcher’s and they closed the road up to the lake. We barely made it in time! But the light was GORGEOUS and the fall colors were perfect.

Our outfits were NOT warm enough for the weather this year… but I still liked what I picked out. The wind comes up fast in the mountains and even though the light was really pretty, it was chilly. Most of our clothing was stuff we already had in our closets.
